If You Can’t Read This, You Need Reading Glasses

Even some of you who find they can read this article aren’t out of the running. Over the years it is easy to see how your vision is deteriorating, pun intended. For a lot of people, changes might be small and you may not have noticed. Have you had to adjust the way you read? For example, are you sitting closer to the screen to read paragraphs that appear a bit fuzzy at first? On the opposite end of the spectrum, you may find that you lean or scoot your chair back without realizing it in order to read certain things. These all indicate that you are a candidate for reading glasses.

How long has it been since you’ve been to your optometrist? Well, the adage “long time no see” has never been so applicable. Set up an appointment, and see what the damage is. It is very important to know your prescription so that your glasses work perfectly with your eyes. It is true that later in life as your vision betters or worsens you will need to make adjustments to your prescription, but the hassle and expensive are paid for by your eyes thanking you. Think about how much reading you’ve been avoiding because of headaches and eyestrain, and then make an appointment. In no time you’ll have your reading glasses in hand. Happy reading!
